As Jimmy faces the wall, his soon-to-be bride walks her way anxiously towards her fiance. In an area of silence, you can hear the heartbeat of Jimmy. He was so ready to see his wife and marry the girl of his dreams, his best friend. What I love about their first look at the Lafayette Grand Pontiac Wedding Venue, is that Jimmy was SO ecstatic to see his wife! He literally flipped his lid and was smiling with such glee. Megan could not stop laughing and smiling back and she was laughing historically at his reaction. To this date, it is still one of my favorite First Look moments that I have ever captured!

Getting Ready

Megan’s Bridal party was one that I will always love hanging out with. These girls were taking shots while they were getting dressed. Celebrating the love they share, there was not a dry mouth in the room. Everyone was smiling, having a great time, and throwing laughter around left and right.

At one point, Megan’s zipper got stuck half way through zipping up. The Super hero of the day was her brother, who came right in and took care of the job!

The Ceremony

This ceremony was so precious to Jimmy and Megan because the officiants were a cousin and a sister of the bride. Keeping it close to the family, these two lovely ladies killed it at their job. They had everyone laughing, and crying at the same time. Both tears of joy and tears of love. It was so personable to the family and friends because of the two girls who got to marry Jimmy and Megan. Indeed a ceremony I will not forget!

Each reception I shoot can be fun and is determined on how well the DJ was. All I can say was that this dance floor was packed with friends and family who were there having the time of their lives! That is the best kind of dance floor, if you ask me!

Megan and Jimmy, thank you so much for allowing me to photograph your memorable wedding! I wish you two all the best in your future endeavors as Mr and Mrs!
