| Bethany and Joel’s Wedding Day|

Like most grooms on their wedding day, they forget to do one thing, and that is remember how to tie a fancy tie. Or, a bow tie. Joel is no different than those grooms. However, it was this moment when him and his friends were getting ready at their Glen Oaks Wedding Venue, that was one of his favorites from their wedding day. Joel and Bethany picked Glen Oaks Country Club for the spacious feel, and for the suites so they can get ready with their friends and family!

One of my most favorite moments from the day was Bethany getting to do a first look with her grandma, one that was just so sweet! It’s not to often you see that happening at weddings, so this moment was one I will never forget capturing. As a photographer, I love getting to serve all family members and friends. One thing that really makes me happy is when the parents welcome me with warming hugs and caring check-ins. Both sets of parents for the bride and groom always checked in on my to see if I needed anything, and that alone just makes the experience that much better.

A moment from the wedding I will never forget is when Bethany and Joel did a first look and realized they had some friends peeking through the window to watch, which made them laugh! Their first look is a great reason why it’s a Yes for me to do, because even after the first look, they still cried during the ceremony. The emotions will always be there, first look or not!
